Who we are
domainsorted is run by Parent Vertical LLC ("we"). It finds and buys web addresses (domains) for you, registers them in your name, and keeps their settings working.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address and language.
- Owner details for each domain you buy: name, business name, postal address, email and phone. The rules for web addresses require them, so we pass them to the registrar and the registry for that ending.
- Your orders: the domain, the price you paid, the renewal price, dates and status.
- Your domain settings: the records we publish for you, and a list of which ones we created, so we never touch the ones we didn't.
- What you type in the chat: used only to answer you at that moment. We don't save the conversation.
- A short-lived counter per network address on search, chat and sign-in, to stop abuse. It deletes itself within two hours.
We never see or store card numbers. No advertising trackers, and we never sell personal data.
Who can see your owner details
We ask for privacy on every domain: wherever the registry allows it, your name, address, email and phone are hidden from public lookups. The registrar and the registry still hold them and must hand them over when the law or the domain rules require it (for example, a court order or a valid abuse complaint).
Who handles data for us
- Cloudflare, Inc. runs this site and our service, stores your account and orders, publishes your domain's records, and is the registrar for most endings. The chat's AI model also runs on its network.
- Name.com, Inc. is the registrar for endings Cloudflare can't register yet.
- The registry for your ending (for example, Verisign for .com) receives what the domain rules require.
- Unyplex (our own billing service) and Stripe, Inc. take payments. Stripe receives your email and card.
- mailvak (our own email service) sends your sign-in links, receipts and renewal reminders.
- passvak (our own sign-in service) checks your sign-in links.
- Amazon Web Services holds our daily backup, locked for 30 days and then deleted.
How long we keep it
- An order that is never paid is deleted after 3 days.
- A sign-in lasts 30 days.
- Your account, orders and domain settings stay while you have a domain with us. Once you have none left, ask us and we delete them. Backups age out 30 days later.
- Registrars and registries keep owner records for as long as the domain rules require, which is usually years after a domain expires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Write to hello@domainsorted.com. We answer within 30 days. You can correct your domain's owner details at any time, and you must keep them accurate (see the terms).
