domainsorted, run by Parent Vertical LLC ("we"), finds web addresses (domains), buys them for you, and keeps their settings working. You can also bring a domain you already own and let us look after its settings. By using the service you accept these terms.
We are not a registrar. We buy your domain through an ICANN-accredited registrar: Cloudflare, Inc. for most endings, or Name.com, Inc. for endings Cloudflare can't register yet. Ask us and we tell you which one holds your domain. The domain is registered in your name; you are its owner (the "registrant").
By buying a domain you also accept that registrar's domain registration agreement and the rules of the registry for your ending, including the dispute policy below. Your rights and responsibilities as a registrant are set out by ICANN: Registrants' Benefits and Responsibilities and Registrant Educational Information.
The domain rules require accurate owner details. Give a real name, address, email and phone, and correct them if they change. The registrar may email you to confirm your address; if you don't confirm within 15 days, it can suspend the domain until you do. Domains registered with false details can be cancelled.
Before you pay, you see two prices: this year's, and the renewal price. Each is what the name itself costs plus one fixed fee. You pay once a year through Unyplex, our billing service.
Once the registry has accepted the domain, the registration can't be refunded; the registry doesn't refund it to anyone. If we can't register the domain after you pay, we refund you in full.
We never charge your card automatically. At least 45 days before your domain expires, we email you the renewal price and a pay link. Pay, and it's renewed for another year. If you don't pay, nothing is charged and the domain expires on its date. After that, the registry may allow a short recovery period, which can cost extra; after that the domain can be released to anyone.
Your domain is yours. Ask us for its transfer code and we send it to your account email within 5 days. Registry rules lock a domain against transfer for 60 days after it is registered or transferred. If you brought your own domain, you can point it away from us at any time.
When we look after a domain, we publish the records your products need and only change records we created. Settings you made yourself stay as you left them.
Don't use a domain or the service for anything illegal, for phishing, malware or spam, or to infringe someone else's rights. We may stop looking after a domain that is used this way, and the registrar or registry may suspend it under their own rules.
If someone claims your domain infringes their trademark, the registry's dispute rules apply, including ICANN's Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy. We follow the outcome, and so does the registrar.
We work to keep the service running, but it is provided "as is" without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, Parent Vertical LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we email you before any change that affects a domain you own.
